Any members coming to the water from Bromley Cross / Turton  / Darwen side.

The road is closed from the cross roads / White Horse Turton to the water until apx end Aug.

You will need to go through Bradshaw and up Bradshaw Rd

New Pegs

John has done a great job and opened a couple of new pegs on the field side. THANK YOU.

They are closed in by weed / lilies  not for the faint-hearted tackle or the walk, but they have been holding fish.

Peg 31.                 JD. Won the last match from, and had a couple of hooks straightened.

Peg 35                   Pleasure session mid-afternoon to 9pm 22’s elastic =

14 tench , small roach and perch 2-3 oz skimmers, odd carp smashed 3lb hook length.

If you wish to pleasure fish these I suggest you park and go over the wall at the lay-by on the main road.

These are not comfortable pegs so be prepared to rough it.
