Sat 21^st Sept 2013.

I had an early session 7 – 10:30AM on Peg 10. Small Roach and Perch on Pole, a few bites on tip.

Large Perch snapping at small Roach when landing.

LARGE COMMON

I was asked to weigh and witness a large common by Danny. What a fish, sorry I did not take a picture, but it was a nice fish in good condition.

16lb 14oz is now the one to beat.

We are sure there are bigger commons than this, so get out and have a go.

Graham found the larger Roach to 12oz , on pole at 10-12 mtrs. Up in the water

The road is closed from the cross roads / White Horse Turton to the water until apx end Aug.

You will need to go through Bradshaw and up Bradshaw Rd

The May match result has decided to run away. I am hoping we can retrieve it soon. Sorry for this.

John has done a great job and opened a couple of new pegs on the field side. THANK YOU.

They are closed in by weed / lilies not for the faint-hearted tackle or the walk, but they have been holding fish.

Peg 31. JD. Won the last match from, and had a couple of hooks straightened.

Peg 35 Pleasure session mid-afternoon to 9pm 22’s elastic =

14 tench , small roach and perch 2-3 oz skimmers, odd carp smashed 3lb hook length.

If you wish to pleasure fish these I suggest you park and go over the wall at the lay-by on the main road.

These are not comfortable pegs so be prepared to rough it.
